Here is important shizzle regarding this weekend's LAN (9th - 11th Feb):
> It's all goin' down in 3WN 3.7
> Arrive from 18:15, with an aim to start some gaming at ~19:00
> Bring money for pizza on Saturday (should be under a tenner)
> Low-end gaming will be taking place on Friday night, so those with tiddly laptops should come along!
> Need transport? Paul (Pablo) is turning his Ford Fiesta into a bus for computers - there will be a charge of £2 for normal people and £3 if you have a CRT (yes, really). Paul has a 'no faffing' policy, so post your address on the forums and make sure your computer is packed up and ready to roll from 17:30. Cash in hand. No people allowed in the computer bus.

A rather lately planned session means a rather late e-mail about it.
For those looking to put the exams behind them, and start Semester 2 with some mass gaming, look no further than the console session TODAY at 1530 in 8W2.1
We hope to have a Wii at the very least with a PS2 and 360 hopefully materialising at some point. All games, controllers, and even consoles welcome. Also bring your DSes for some 8 player Mario Kart DS, etc.
Of course, whether consoles interest you or not, we''ll be heading Spoons-ward after at around 1930, where we can guarantee a supply of drunk people.
And yes, this is the same text I put out in the e-mail. Because I'm lazy, and because there was no need to write anything else.

Christmas Meal Order Deadline Set
All Chistmas meal reservations/orders must be placed and paid for by the end of this weekend's LAN - i.e. Sunday evening.
After this time the booking will have been confirmed and the deposit paid, so it's unlikely any new orders will be accepted by the pub.
Visit the members' area to choose your food from the menu!

I have been working on the news section of the site, and the system has been upgraded. Better functionality, and hopefully less maintenance will result.
It is optimised for Firefox Live Bookmarks, but seems to work well with other reliable RSS readers.

The BUNCS Christmas dinner will be taking place at The Bear pub in Bear Flat at 6pm on Wednesday 6th December.
It will be a three course meal (selections to be made from a set menu) and will cost a mere £10 per person, payable in advance.
hairymnstr has coded us an awesome online ordering system in the members' area. If you'd like to come along then you need to log in and access the online selection system. Everything you need to know should be on that page.
Hope to see loads of you filling up the database!
