LAN 4 [3WN 3.7, 19/3, 5:30pm]

It's nearly LAN time people! The fourth and penultimate LAN of the year kicks off in less than 2 weeks on the 19th March at 5:30pm in 3WN 3.7. LANPubbing will be happening on the friday at about 8, so come over to 3WN 3.7 between 5:30 and 8 to set up and play a few games, before heading down to the Westgate, where we have the upstairs room booked for our socialling shenanigens. there'll be groups walking from campus to the pub and groups bussing and if you need to get to the LAN a bit later post below, or email committee@buncs.com and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Don't forget that our Annual General Meeting will take place during Saturday at the LAN, and voting for next year's committee will begin as the LAN commences. More info here. We're still looking for a candidate for Treasurer and you are welcome to stand for positions which already have nominations.

If you're a guest and you're planning to come to the LAN, you need to email secretary@buncs.com with your full name, or I won't be able to get you an account for the network.

Aside from the pub arrangements and the AGM, this will be a normal LAN, unlike our last 3 day megaLAN and the following LAN which will,hopefully include the may bank holiday. We'll game all of Saturday, from about 10AM till 1AM, with Pizza in the evening and then finish on Sunday at around 7.

Yep.

It's a map where Red and Blue have their own airship and have to race it to the end of the map. The speed of your ship is determined by the number of people standing by the (exposed) ship's wheel.

I believe this map came out before the PLR mode, there are also control points that need to be captured along the race route. It's great fun.
